Condition report
The painting is on canvas which has been laid down onto board probably due to some damage sustained to the canvas and there are areas throughout where the work has flaked and been retouched, including additions along the lower edge where the, , painting has been extended onto the supporting board below the canvas edge. These retouchings and additions, however, appear to be the work of the artist as the painting was purchased from the artist’s studio and there is no significant sign of, , fluorescing under UV light.
