An Hermès Paris black crocodile skin 'Kelly' bag,
of traditional form with gilt clasp, complete with covered lock and key, c.1950-60s, hidden stamp, no letter as before 1970,

Condition report
This bag has been significantly repaired. The bag has been authenticated and a certificate of authenticity from Lilac Blue is included.
Straps have been replaced and Hermès logo is upside down. Stitching on handle to repair skin, handle has been put, on back to front. Date code O.
In used condition. Wear on handle, skin needs repair (which Hermès will do).
Cracks in skin to handle and overall wear. Cracking to strap.
Lock missing skin to base.
Gilt brass ware tarnished and scratch. Corners of, skin worn.
Gilt studs worn.
Cracks to skin on fold over. Interior pocket stitching loose, clean and tidy leather but signs of use.

This lot has been identified at the time of cataloguing as containing organic material subject to CITES, legislation and the buyer should be aware that they may find restrictions regarding import or export.


In person

Telephone bidding

For telephone bids, we will contact you during the sale, and a saleroom representative will bid live with you over the phone. Bid amounts do not include buyers premium. We offer this service for higher value lots with an estimate of £500 or more for our Specialist Sales. Requests to bid by telephone need to be made before 4pm, the day before the sale.
