With a frontis plus 58 of 59 plates, lacking the “Dropping Well” plate in vol.4. Cont. half leather; rubbed and hinges cracked; the fore-margins of some pages trimmed, well away from the text; 2- BOYER, Abel (compiler): The English Theophrastus; or the manners of the age. Being the modern characters of the Court, the town, and the city. W. Turner, 1702. With a frontis, PP:(xiv), 1-144, 161-383, (i)advert. Mispagination, but complete. Cont. full panelled calf and later spine; 3- Gorton, John: A Topographical Dictionary of Great Britain and Ireland. One volume only made up of a facsimile title page, list of maps (page cut out and laid down), plus 54 double-page MAPS. Recent ¾ leather and new endpapers. (Sold as a collection of maps); 4- Britton & Brayley: Topographical & Historical description of Northamptonshire. 1810, with a frontis plus 2 plates. Cont. half leather with later spine and new endpapers. (9)
