MAMMATT, Edward: A Collection of Geological Facts and practical Observations intended to elucidate the formation of the Ashby Coal-Field, in the parish of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the neighbouring district; being the result of forty years' experience and research, Ashby-De-La-Zouche: Printed and sold by W. Hextall, & London: George Lawford, 1834. 4to. With a folding lithograph map frontispiece, 7 folding profiles, 24 plates of sections (23 hand-coloured) and 102 hand-coloured lithograph plates (plate 1 misbound before the last folding profile). Later leather backed boards with gilt decoration and gilt lettered label to the spine. Occasional spotting. A very attractive copy, with NO library bookplate or stamps.
