The two piece back of faintly flamed maple, with decorative inlaid scrollwork to the lower bout, the ribs and scroll of similar wood, the table of spruce, varnish of rich golden brown hue with areas of wear and patina, with an ivory and mother-of-pearl mounted bow, in a case
