with a cushion shaped old Swiss cut diamond, claw set to the centre. Radiating blade edge bars with a circle of old cut diamonds to an outer frame of scalloped crescents, each one claw set with an old European cut diamond, with a later wire bale. Tested as approximately 15ct gold, bale as 9ct gold. 29 x 26mm, 6.95g

The diamond is not chipped it has an indented natural. This is a natural fracture of the diamond and was left when the diamond was cut. As a lot of diamonds of this period, it is not symmetrical. There is no wear or damage to the bale - safe to wear.
