Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, the Bentley Continental R was the first model since 1965's S3 to feature a body unique to Bentley, marking a decisive step in re‑establishing the marque’s sporting identity. Powered by the turbocharged 6.75‑litre V8 paired with a four‑speed automatic transmission, the Continental R delivered the strong, effortless performance and refined high‑speed capability that earned it widespread acclaim when new.
Finished in metallic black over black, this example presents with a discreet, purposeful presence. The paintwork retains an impressive gloss, while the interior features black hide, matching wool carpets and dark walnut veneers, all of which contribute to the model's characteristic blend of luxury and restraint. Originally supplied by Jack Barclay London, it now shows approximately 65,136 miles and is understood to have been consistently maintained, with earlier servicing by P&A Wood and more recent mechanical work entrusted to Colbrook R & B.
Significantly, the head gaskets have recently been replaced - a major piece of preventative maintenance - at a cost of nearly £10,000, again carried out by Colbrook. This substantial investment addresses one of the most important mechanical considerations for these cars and adds meaningful confidence for future ownership.

in good usable condition, paintwork without imperfection other than areas in need of polishing, interior in good order as are the carpets, dials gauges and instruments are all functional, seat ECU recently changed by Colbrook in addition to the headgaskets and other major servicing at cost of near £10,000.
The extensive Work to the Continental was undertaken around a year ago by Colbrook R & B, specifically on 05/06/2025, at the same time the engine recieved work the brakes were flushed aswell as given a new O/S/R caliper, new brake pump seal kit, brake pump feed O-ring. at this time new Michelin Alpine tyres were also fitted for £920, the odometer reading was 65122 miles, less than 14 miles ago.
In total the work completed by Colbrook, is detailed as " Strip out engine to remove cylinder heads, send heads for level checking, re face both heads, Re-lap 16 valves fiting new stem seals. Re-fit with new headgaskets, all seals and gaskets as required, replcacing both corroded air injector pipes to exhaust manifolds. changing oil and filter twice, spark plugs, thermostat and sensors, re fit with fresh anti freeze."
The interior is in very good order without any distinguishable damage, the wheels are without major damage and the tyres are unworn, the brightwork is in very good order, the engine runs smoothly and idles happily, the gearbox selects gears well and the brakes work to bring the car to a composed standstill. drivers seat intermittent.
