A 2001 Range Rover P38 Vogue 4.6 V8 automatic

Registration Number: KE51LNP
Chassis Number: XXX52196

Odometer Reading: 79,000

A particularly fine and exceptionally well-preserved example of Land Rover’s second-generation Range Rover, this 2001 P38A Vogue is presented in the highly attractive and seldom-seen combination of Oslo Blue metallic with cream leather interior, beautifully complemented by blue piping and matching blue carpets. Showing admirably low mileage and offered in very fine condition throughout, the motor car has evidently been carefully maintained, presenting with an excellent appearance both inside and out.

Powered by the desirable 4.6-litre V8 engine and automatic transmission, the Vogue represented the height of Range Rover luxury and capability, combining effortless performance with refinement, permanent four-wheel drive and the model’s capable electronic air suspension. By the final years of production, the P38 had evolved into a sophisticated and highly capable luxury vehicle, retaining the marque's traditional presence while offering substantial comfort and performance.

KE51 languished in a carpenter's workshop from 2016 until being purchased in 2021, the owner spending over £10,000 restoring it to its stunning show condition. KE51 has only covered 2000 miles since 2016 which includes the previous owner’s 1000 mile trip from Birmingham to Inverness, and the recent 150-mile journey from Birmingham to Sworders . The current MOT is valid until 12.02.2027. The service book is complete up to 62,576 miles, then serviced 13 May 2025 at approximately 77,300 prior to the Highlands trip, all oils changed: diffs, gearbox, transfer box and engine. New airbags and compressor fitted, new tyres, new front windscreen, all five wheels refurbished to full factory standard. Leatherwork and upholstery all redone. The current owner is very reluctantly selling this prized motor due to personal circumstances, but is willing to deliver KE51 from Sworders to anywhere in the British Isles at cost. The P38A was inspected by A J Dedman of Bishops Stortford prior to being brought to auction with nothing untoward other than the single MOT advisory of play in a linkage ball joint. Alpine radio, with 6-CD player in rear and full spectrum Harman Kardon sound system. The air conditioner was understood to be working, and has been regassed but is still not cooling the interior, but all electric roof and side windows are working. The interior and bodywork present very well for a vehicle of its age with no untoward marks or areas.

Increasingly recognised as a true modern classic, the P38 Range Rover is now finding strong favour among collectors and enthusiasts alike, with low-mileage, highly original and particularly well-kept examples very sought after. This outstanding 4.6 Vogue, with its rare specification, low mileage and exceptional condition, represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest expressions of the P38 generation.
