Pierre Jeanneret (Swiss, 1896-1967)

a set of twelve model 'PJ-010100T' chairs, also known as ‘Floating Back’ chairs, c.1955-56, designed for Chandigarh, teak, each seat and backrest hand-braided in cane, with double-sided inverted 'V' leg assembly, the legs connected by a central stretcher, each marked with original identification markings, with certificate of authenticity by Jacques Dworczak,

Condition Report

All chairs have been restored and will have been oiled and waxed, joints will be strengthened and made solid, cane work will always be renewed and in perfect condition as will cushions and upholstery, each item will be unique and each piece will not be exactly the same as the next, the patina may slightly vary as these items date from the 1950s and 60s, each chair will be slightly +/-different in size due to being original.
