Owned and run by Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, Paolo Moschino Ltd. is an award-winning design studio specialising in exceptional residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors projects around the world.
Starting out as a business partner to his good friend and fellow interior designer, Nicholas Haslam, in the 1990s, Paolo’s keen interest in antiques was evident from the early days. Sourcing pieces from around the world, this ‘well-travelled’ aesthetic, mixing antiques and art in a fresh and modern way, has become his modus operandi. Now, together with Philip, he derives inspiration from every conceivable source, creatively translating their discoveries into unique interiors for their clients.

Celebrated for elegant design infused with Continental flair, the firm’s three London showrooms, and website offer a sophisticated range of furniture, fabrics, lighting, decorative accessories, vintage, and antique pieces, while an international network of agents represent their signature Paolo Moschino Collection, produced in collaboration with the world’s finest artisans.

Paolo and Philip’s tastes lean towards antique and vintage pieces, rather than contemporary ones, but are not limited to a narrow period or style. They believe the maxim that good pieces from any era can work together in an interior scheme is true, and an eighteenth-century commode can sit nicely alongside a pair of mid-century armchairs if each piece has been designed with integrity.
This juxtaposition of styles and eras means that individual antique and vintage items are highly valued and can form the base for any room setting. This ethos is coupled with the hope that more and more consumers will realise the value of these items and continue to pass them through the generations, instead of buying newly made pieces with each new passing trend.
