Charlotte joined Sworders’ Fine Interiors department in 2021, where she’s enjoyed developing the sale’s digital presentation, an area she sees as imperative to allow a very traditional industry to reach a global audience of interiors enthusiasts.

Before Sworders, Charlotte spent five years working at a London-based valuation firm in association with Sotheby’s and has ten years of experience in the industry. She has been fortunate to work with significant collections including The Palace of Westminster’s Historic Furniture Collection, The Britten-Pears Foundation, Oxburgh Hall, and Holkham Hall.

Charlotte has a degree in History and History of Art and a master's in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies. Her interests include British and Continental furniture, textiles and needleworks, and sculpture, but most of all she is fascinated by the stories of the makers and collectors behind the objects.
