INVESTMENT POTENTIAL OF COLLECTABLE COINS
We witnessed an exciting result for lot 1025 in today’s specialised Coins & Medals section of the Homes & Interiors sale.

The Great Britain, George V (1910 - 1936), proof set of 12 coins in a case of issue sold for an impressive £13000, well exceeding the £4000-6000 estimate.

The set had been in the vendor’s family for a very long time (possibly from new) and coins of this nature are becoming increasingly valuable as a result of their rarity and the investment potential.
