Secretary / Receptionist

Are you interested in the world of art and antiques? Would you like to join our knowledgeable and friendly team, working in beautiful auction rooms in the idyllic Essex countryside?

We have an exciting opportunity for a secretary/receptionist to join our administration team in Stansted Mountfitchet.  You will play a key part in client care in our fascinating business, greeting clients, answering the telephone, dealing with queries and entering lots for sale on our auction computer systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment as part of a team.  The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Touch typing skills
  • Accuracy and a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to take on tasks with a can do attitude
  • A professional attitude
  • Good computer literacy

Previous experience working in an office environment is essential and training will be provided on our bespoke auction software package.
