Jocelyn McGregor

 

Jocelyn McGregor (b. 1989, Lincolnshire) is currently on residency in Nottingham.  She studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford University in 2010 and completed her MFA in Sculpture at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL in 2017. She was awarded the Lee Alexander McQueen: Sarabande Foundation Emerging Artist Award in 2017, selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2018, exhibiting in Liverpool Biennale and South London Gallery; and was Artist-in-Residence as part of the British Council SWAP UK/Ukraine Residency Programme 2019-20. Recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition, ‘Mantle’, at Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, UK (2022); ‘Trespassers Will Be Detected’, Dnipro Centre for Contemporary Culture, Ukraine (2020); ‘A Field Guide to Getting Lost’, The Art Foundation, Athens, Greece (2018); and upcoming public sculpture commission, Sculpture in the City: Aldgate Square Commission 2022-23.
