A 1920s diamond and sapphire set circular locket,
the locket tested as 18ct gold, the front with incised geometric design with an old round cut diamond at the centre, and at each cardinal point a group of four calibré cut sapphires around a rose cut diamond point, the back plain bloomed gold, inside both panels vacant (one lacking glazing), but inscribed 'Job 3, 27 : Tini, Du! : 25.4.25', suspensory loop, to a squared belcher link chain with square barrel clasp with safety catch, stamped '585' and tested as 14ct gold. Diameter of locket 27mm, length of chain 450mm. 12.41g

Good condition for age. The central diamond is not perfectly round, the small rose cut ones are rough; the sapphires mid-blue but slightly variable.`The inner slips for the glazed panels are rose gold and also test for 18ct.
