A Chinese bronze incense burner

A Chinese bronze incense burner,
late Ming dynasty, of rectangular form with two handles on four tall mask and tongue feet, each side moulded with a taotie mask against a key fret ground, details decorated in gold and silver, the interior engraved with archaic characters,
18.3cm high, wood stand with ruyi head shaped decoration in relief, the cover similarly decorated with an agate finial of lingzhi (3)

Provenance: Acquired by vendor's grandfather in China in 1930s, thence by descent within the family.

Surface scratches and dents consistent with age. Some inserted stones missing. 1652g.
Cover - finial glued. Some wiring loose.Natural cracks and chips to agate.
Stand - the top and bottom sections separated,
