dated 1841, Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, period of Nicholas I, the centre painted with mounted lancers with other soldiers seated beside a lane, within a border decorated with gilt ciselé military trophies, and Imperial double-headed eagles on a green ground, marked under base with underglaze blue factory mark, inscribed, signed and dated 1841, restored,
