Pierre Jeanneret (Swiss, 1896-1967)

a set of twelve model 'PJ-010100T' chairs, also known as ‘Floating Back’ chairs, c.1955-56, designed for Chandigarh, teak, each seat and backrest hand-braided in cane, with double-sided inverted 'V' leg assembly, the legs connected by a central stretcher, each marked with original identification markings, together with Certificate of Authenticity from Jacques Dworczak,

Condition Report

All chairs have been restored, oiled and waxed. The joints have been strengthened, and the cane work renewed. Surface marks, scuffs, and nicks commensurae with age and use. Overall, the chairs appear in good overall condition considering their age and present well.
