Born in Stourbridge (the glass capital of the world in the late 19th century), our Head of Homes & Interiors Alex Froggatt specialises in glass from the 17th century to contemporary studio works. As a keen collector and passionate researcher, he is excited to offer an extensive single-owner collection, featuring glass manufacturing from a wide range of periods.
From 18th-century tableware to elaborately decorated Bohemian glass of the 19th century and studio works of the 20th century, the collection allows for all tastes and budgets.

Condition Report
Plain) No chips, cracks or restoration.
Gilded) Chip to the base of the scroll kick handle. Excess trailing to the foot rim which can be felt due to manufacturing. Wear, blistering and losses to the gilded finish which may be a later addition.

Once our team have entered your bid request you will receive an email confirmation. We will contact you during the sale and one of our team will bid live with you over the phone.
Please note that we normally offer this service for lots with an estimate of £500 or higher and all telephone bid requests must be received by close of business the day before the auction.

REMOVAL OF LOTS
We operate a booking system for collections. You must book your appointment online at least 24 hours in advance, to ensure your items are ready when you arrive:
Items will be available to collect from the day after the sale at our Stansted Auction Rooms, Cambridge Road, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex CM24 8GE. Please select ‘Collection’ as your appointment type when booking your collection time.
FURNITURE AND CARPETS
Furniture and carpets not collected by 5pm on Friday 9th June 2023 will incur storage charges (£10+VAT administration per invoice and £2+VAT per day, per lot)
If you are collecting larger items of furniture, please ensure there are two of you to carry the items to your vehicle, as we are unfortunately unable to assist due to current government guidelines.
