A Regency gold, ruby and emerald circular brooch, c.1820,
with a cross hatch circular boss to the centre with a bead border. A surround of alternating cushion shaped rubies and emeralds, claw set to cannetille twisted wire flower heads with a, plain brooch pin and 'C' catch. Tested as approximately 9ct gold. 25mm diameter, 6.61g
Dark tarnish to the outer border.
Original "C" catch although the pin is a little floppy.
A circular disc to the centre of the reverse is loose.
