An 18ct yellow and white gold black opal doublet and diamond pendant

retailed by Joseph Bonnar of Edinburgh. An oval cabochon black opal doublet rub set to a plain collet with a trefoil cluster of brilliant cut diamonds rub set in white gold above, to a split bale. Suspended on an 18ct yellow gold palmier chain together with a pair of matched black opal doublet earrings from Joseph Bonnar of Edinburgh.

Accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt from Joseph Bonnar dated 2002 stating Lightening Ridge black opal doublet pendant, and a copy of the purchase receipt from Joseph Bonnar dated 2004 stating Lightening Ridge black opal doublet earrings.

PENDANT AND A PAIR OF EARRINGS (2)

Pendant:
The opal, by repute is from Lightening Ridge. Body colour: N3 Broad flash with straw or chaff. Blue, mauve, orange, green yellow, red.
Minor light surface marks to the mount.
Diamonds bright and lively.
The chain and the pendant Are both hallmarked 18ct gold.
The earrings stamped 14K
