Condition Report

Clasp secure.
Some surface scratches and abrasions to facet junctions of paste.
Some scratches, chips and losses to enamel.
There are two suspension loops either side of the head.
There is wear to the head, and at points the gold has worn through.
One side of the head there is a split between the bottom plate and the side. Near the split, there is evidence of previous repair, gold slightly different in colour. Originally there would probably have been a scroll to this side which is no longer there, to match the scroll on the other side.
A solder join visible at the base of the bangle.
Evidence of soft solder repair to the bead for the figure of eight catch.
A slight dent to the lower half of the bangle near the hinge.
