Nestled in the picturesque Surrey countryside lies the charming, and aptly-named, Comforts Place, an Elizabethan manor house with ivy-clad brick walls and exposed timber beams, which exude almost five hundred years of history. We are very pleased to present this thoughtful collection of stylish contemporary lighting and soft furnishings along with many traditonal, beautifully made pieces.

Condition Report
Overall in good structural condition with slight wobble to the back gallery. Some polished-in dents and water marks to the top. The top has a slight warp to the front right corner. No obvious signs of restoration, alteration or repair. General wear, small splits and signs of age as expected. Draw runs smoothly. Overall in good condition and ready for use. Height to tabletop 76cm. Please see additional images for reference.

The Fine Interiors team are incredibly excited to present our summer sale, with nearly seven-hundred pieces of period and modern furniture and decorative arts to choose from, we are sure you'll find a wealth of things to fall in love with. 

This sale is led by a large number of antiques once belonging to the late Rosemary and Theo Cutting from their home, The Old Bakehouse in Whepstead, Suffolk; also included are fine early longcase clocks from a private Hertfordshire collection and the David Morris collection of clocks and scientific instruments, vernacular furniture and works of art from York's Tenement, Suffolk, three important plaster models of temples from the collection of Ben Weinreb, and a group of maiolica from the collection of the art dealer, Hermann Baer. These sit allongside traditional and contemporary furnishings from Comforts Place in Surrey and a host of other unique pieces for your home.
