Rudolph Ihlee (1883-1968) was a prize-winning student at the Slade in the company of Stanley Spencer, CRW Nevinson and Mark Gertler. Although he had four solo exhibitions in London, he spent much of his career in Collioure, in the South of France. A new book by James Trollope, 'Rudolph Ihlee: The Road to Collioure' chronicles his travels in France, Algeria and Spain, and includes the first catalogue of his work. The catalogue reference of The Bridge at Hendaye is Trollope RF4.

Framed size: 67 x 76cm

Canvas is relined, there are two patches of retouching to sky area (please see images), this is hardly noticeable to the naked eye, otherwise well-presented and ready to hang.
