Condition Report
Some general splits, knocks and losses to the frame and carving commensurate with age and use. Some timbers, such as the lower headboard panel are slightly twisted, making construction of the bed a little bit of an involved process, as well as the fact that the screws and bolts that are present are not original and not matching. To ensure maximum ease and ultimate stability of the bed, it would be advisable to source correct bolts. Some loose elements, but overall the piece seems sturdy and has been in use, albeit infrequently, up until point of consignment. The mattress was purchased in 2017 from Heal's, London, along with a luxury topper, and has seen light and infrequent use, therefore appears in very good condition.
