David Shepherd is one of the finest wildlife painters of his generation. Also an outspoken conservationist, he is best known for pictures of the African savannah and the large mammals who inhabit it. His impressive, highly detailed animal portraits display exceptional draughtsmanship and atmosphere and he is deservedly much sought after by collectors.
