Prada

'Italian elegance' are the words associated with Prada. Specialising in leather handbags, ready-to-wear, accessories and travel apparel, the company was founded in Milan by Mario Prada in 1913. The business was taken over by Mario’s granddaughter Miuccia Prada in 1978, and it was Miuccia who revolutionised the brand, changing the way people viewed fashion. With forward-thinking clothes, practical tote handbags with their signature triangular logo and countless beauty ventures, Prada became one of the most recognised labels in the world.

Prada handbags are particularly sought-after and can fetch anywhere between £80 to a few hundred pounds at one of our auctions. Recent sale highlights include a soft brown calfskin leather handbag that sold for £110 plus BP, and a metallic gold saffiano leather wallet that sold for £80 plus BP.
