We are delighted to present the collection of the late John Scott-Oldfield and the contents of his flat at 65 Warwick Square across three upcoming sales: Fine Interiors, Old Master, British & European Art, and Asian Art.
As a keen traveller and lover of music, art and history, the interiors of his flat encapsulated a thoughtful mixture of styles, from Renaissance Europe to Qing Dynasty China, representing the impact of his academic interests as well as his love of travel on his decorative aesthetic.
The collection is sure to generate huge interest among collectors, dealers and interior designers alike, and Sworders are privileged to have been asked to disperse his estate.
If you're in London over the coming weeks, a selection of highlights from the collection will be on view at our gallery in Cecil Court, from 8-23 February. See below for opening hours and further information.
