Following two successful valuation events held in partnership with Britten Pears Arts, Sworders is delighted to announce the third in its series of Art & Antiques Valuation Days, this time taking up residence at The Red House in Aldeburgh during the internationally renowned Aldeburgh Festival.

On Wednesday 24 June, Sworders’ team of specialists will be offering free auction valuations and sales advice by appointment in the Library at The Red House, Aldeburgh - the former home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears. Surrounded by their remarkable personal collection of books, music scores and contemporary art, local residents and visitors alike are invited to bring along treasured objects to chat with a friendly team of experts to discover more about the history, significance and current market value of their items, and to explore opportunities to consign to one of Sworders’ specialist sales.

Appointments are available across a range of specialist departments including Silver, Ceramics, Works of Art, Pictures, Jewellery, Modern Design and more. Whether seeking an up-to-date valuation, considering a future sale, or simply curious to learn more about a single item, Sworders’ specialists will be on hand to offer tailored advice. 

Please note: valuations are available by appointment only and advance booking is essential.
