This remarkable collection of jewellery was conceived and created by Ken in collaboration with Swiss designer Marinette Domon. The original vision, over a decade ago, was to launch a distinctive jewellery brand. Every piece was meticulously crafted in Switzerland by master jeweller Denis Domon, working from his atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
After a year of development and an investment of over £300,000, Ken came to the difficult decision to step back from the project. While the creative journey was deeply rewarding, it became clear that bringing the full collection to market would require a significantly larger investment.
Since then, the collection has remained in safe storage. Now, for the first time, these unique pieces are being offered for sale. Each one is entirely original and no duplicates will ever be produced.

The so-called Touche De Soie series comprises necklaces, pendants, collars, bangles, earrings and rings fashioned predominantly in 18 carat white gold and diamonds. All are signed by Denis Domon and made between 2015-17, they assume a plethora of highly textured, asymmetrical and sculptural forms accented with pavé set brilliant cut stones. They range in price from a Tahitian pearl and diamond Baroque ring designed as a wraparound ribbon (estimate £500-800) to a torque necklace adorned with approximately 7.66ct of diamonds (estimate £10,000-15,000).
Modelled as an abstract twisted ribbon, partially articulated, set with round brilliant-cut diamonds and vari-sized Tahitian keshi pearls, mounted in white and rose gold marked 750, Denis Domon, total diamond weight 3.20ct, 109.10g (£5,000-7,000) Photography | David Brook
The jewellery is part of our 24 September single-owner sale, Ken Bolan | Nature Follows Form. A legendary dealer and the face behind the Talisman brand, Ken has bought and sold antiques and design objects for half a century. Many items in the sale come with anecdotes relating to more than 50 years of dealing. They include a remarkable mosaic panel created by sculptor Dame Elisabeth Frink (1930-1993) for the swimming pool of her Dorset country estate Woolland House. Ken first met ‘Lis’ when she visited his shop in Bath in 1986 and the pair developed a close friendship.’ Following Frink’s death in 1993, Ken assisted her son, Lan, with the sale of the furnishings at Woolland, and later made the new owners an offer on the ‘The Monkey and the Dolphin’ mosaic that Frink had designed c.1987. It is thought to be the only mosaic Frink created and among the largest pieces she ever made. This important piece leads the sale with an estimate of £300,000-500,000.
