All our estimates are complimentary. If your item is below our minimum sale threshold, we will endeavour to still give you some indication of its value and suggest an alternative selling platform.
Yes, requesting an estimate is only the first step in selling your item. Submitting an online valuation is no obligation and we will discuss our recommended sale estimates and reserves with you ahead of any consignment.
One of our specialists should be in contact with you within five business days, usually by email. Sometimes, items require further time for additional research or consultation, in which case you will be notified of your submission’s status.
All valuations are preliminary open-market estimates and subject to change based on first-hand inspection, further research, and fluctuations in the art market. These are not formal documents and as such cannot be used for official purposes such as for insurance or tax.
There is no need to make any changes to your item for a sale estimate.
