The Carter Collection
Roy Carter was a collector since childhood - first birds’ eggs, then coins and then pocket watches - and the large family home he built in 1968 became a receptacle for all manner of interesting antiques, later requiring a large extension to house his burgeoning collection.
After Roy’s passing in 2016, his collection now comes for sale at Sworders, and it is a pleasure to offer lots in several sales this spring, including Fine Interiors, Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, and Homes & Interiors.
