Allusion Box Malcolm Appleby

The Allusion Box is engraved, fabricated with cover and base hinged. It was devised by Malcolm Appleby while at the Royal College of Art in the 1960s. Sat on a desk, it functions as a box (as here). Place the box fully opened-out with one end opened, the other closed. Look through the open end and a whole new world opens out to infinity. Edinburgh 2016
