What happens at your valuation appointment?

  • An initial consultation to understand the history, provenance, and any known details of the jewellery and watches to be valued
  • Physical inspection for any visible damage, craftsmanship quality, and overall condition, as well as weight measurement and gemstone analysis
  • Testing and authentication including metal testing, gemstone verification, and hallmark and signature verification
  • Drawing upon the information gathered and our expert's extensive knowledge and understanding of current market trends, you will be provided with an estimated auction appraisal

Further research or testing required?

  • Items can be left in our care insured, secured and stored responsibly
  • You will receive a detailed receipt outlining the items left for further research
  • Upon completion, you will receive a comprehensive appraisal of your items

Ready to sell?

Our specialists will guide you through the process and determine the best sales strategy, discussing applicable selling fees, and outlining the next steps. Once you are happy to proceed, you will receive a detailed receipt for your items, which will include a link to our full Terms and Conditions.
