Sworders Fine Art Fundraises for Red Kite Support

Red Kite Support is a vital local charity that provides comprehensive services to survivors of historic or recent rape, sexual abuse, or violence, enabling them to recover and thrive once more in their communities.

Red Kite Support

Each year, we select a charity to champion, supporting its initiatives through fundraising events, awareness campaigns and direct contributions. This selection process is an integral part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, ensuring that our employees have a say in choosing a cause close to their hearts. This year, Red Kite Support resonated strongly with our team, reflecting our shared desire to make a tangible impact within the local community.

'We are delighted to be supporting Red Kite as our Charity of the Year for 2025,' said Claire Hayter for Sworders Fine Art. 'Their work is truly inspiring and, as a company, we are committed to helping them make a difference. Our team is eager to contribute, whether through fundraising efforts, special events, or raising awareness of the essential services they provide through our outreach.'

The charity recently concluded its "What Were You Wearing?" exhibition, a powerful installation that aimed to dispel myths about sexual violence and victim-blaming, featuring testimonies and clothing worn by survivors. Siobhan Nundram, board chair of the Red Kite Rape & Sexual Abuse and Support Service, said: "This exhibition looked at the factors that influence rape culture and the power you have as an individual and part of a community to develop a zero tolerance to it.”

Red Kite will be participating in several leading events in the local area in the coming months, including the Herts County Show on the 24-25 May, the Bishop’s Stortford Carnival on the 21 June, and the Essex Show on 21 July.
