The Historic Houses Association

We take a look at The Historic Houses Association's annual exhibition, a perfect event for anyone with an interest in properties with a notable history. Due to the difficulties the pandemic has posed upon public displays this year, the Association created a virtual event for their audience to enjoy which took place on 10 November. However, to ensure viewers will not miss out on this unique experience, the exhibtion will remain online for 12 months.

For anyone interested in old properties, The Historic Houses Association exhibition offers a wealth of information. Properties from large country houses to the small and quirky are represented by this forward thinking Association, and with over 300 of them open to the public, they offer a fantastic opportunity for visitors to discover multiple residences across the UK.

HH hold their AGM alongside the Historic Houses exhibition every November in London, where visitors can browse many stands covering all aspects of owning or running a historic house. From conservation to carpets, to protecting or promoting, there is something of interest for all spectators in this eclectic event.

This year of course, has proved difficult for all public spectacles and the exhibition has become yet another casualty of Covid. However, the organisers have done an excellent job in creating a virtual display for viewers to experience.

Sworders have enjoyed taking their stand to the exhibition over the years, making many new friends and are pleased be at this year’s virtual event.
