Running for over 35 years, The Historic Buildings, Parks and Gardens Event runs in parallel with the Historic Houses Annual General Meeting, and this year will take place on Tuesday 15 November from 9am - 5pm.
The combination of the all-day exhibition, demonstrations and keynote speeches running throughout the day make this an event not to be missed for those within the sector. Entry is free for anyone in the historic buildings, landscape conservation and heritage sectors.
The exhibition offers visitors a superb opportunity to discuss their current and future projects with experts and specialist suppliers. With everything on offer, from the traditional, to cutting edge technology, you can meet with professionals from all aspects of the historic buildings, landscape and heritage conservation.
The exhibitors are able to offer information, advice, solutions, guidance and support as well as products and services for all aspects of the historic buildings, landscape conservation and heritage sectors. Exhibitors have specialist knowledge of repair, conservation, maintenance and preservation of historic buildings, their contents, historic landscapes, and parks and gardens, both private or commercial.
With a range of live demonstrations and short talks held throughout the day, experts will demonstrate practical skills, conservation techniques and discuss issues ranging from dampness, timber decay and dry rot to sculpture, silk weaving, rug and carpet restoration, and the conservation of decorative arts.
