Beatrice Campi is an art consultant, lecturer and auctioneer with specialist expertise in Islamic and Indian art. With more than twelve years’ experience in the auction world and cultural heritage sector, she has held senior roles at leading London auction rooms, as well as at Christie’s in London. She was a founder and director of one and previously established and led the Islamic and Indian Art Department at another.
Alongside her commercial career, Beatrice has worked with museums and cultural institutions on curatorial and exhibition projects in Europe and the Middle East. She lectures and publishes on Islamic art, and has a particular interest in Islamic metalwork, collecting histories and art market trends. She studied at the University of Venice and SOAS, University of London, and brings both academic knowledge and practical market experience to her work.
