Later offered a traineeship at a rival Essex based firm, he was able to develop his interest and broaden his knowledge of art and antiques.
After stints working for auction houses across Essex and London, he is now an established member of the Sworders team, with over 30 years experience. He understands that to run a successful saleroom, you need to maintain a steady flow of fresh goods to the market and, having built up a solid network of contacts with both leading central London Law firms and local solicitors, now manages Sworders Probate referrals, successfully securing several large single owner collections.
With his background in period furniture, which he still maintains a strong interest, Daniel has diversified to cover the Arts and Crafts period, clocks, and watches.
