01279 817778Luke qualified as a member of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers in 1986. After a strong grounding with Mallams in Oxford, joined Lawrence’s to open a saleroom in the West Country, later joining Woolley & Wallis as a Director and Head of Furniture, before returning to home turf in 2006 and more recently joining the board of Directors at Sworders.
With a long-held interest in the history of furniture and many years as head of furniture, Luke has made some important discoveries, which have found their way into private collections, Bond Street Galleries and stands at international fairs.
In addition to specialist auction sales, Luke has organised on-site house sales in the West Country, Wiltshire and Suffolk and has a wealth of experience built up over more than 30 years in the auction business, together with a client base throughout the South of England, particularly in the world of Hunting, Shooting and Fishing.
