Yexue Li’s experience growing up in China helped to shape her expert knowledge and understanding of the current Asian Art market. She furthered her expertise by studying Fine Art in America, then completing a Masters degree in East Asian Art at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
In 2013 she joined Sworders and worked closely with ceramics and Asian artefacts expert David Battie. Following his passion and legacy, she built up a broad knowledge of jade carvings, paintings, and Buddhist sculptures.
As a bilingual speaker, Yexue maintains an extensive network of contacts across mainland China and Hong Kong and has been pivotal in the rapid growth and success of Sworders Asian Art sales.
