Alex Froggatt has worked in a saleroom since he was 15, initially balancing it with his studies until it flourished into his career of choice. Owning unique items and creating a distinctive interior has appealed to him from a young age. Born in Stourbridge, a glassmaking hub of the 19th century, he is a keen collector, particularly of 18th century English and mid-20th Scandinavian glass. Through handling, reading and researching he has gained a broad knowledge of this fascinating area.
Alex continues to hone his knowledge of glass and enjoys sharing the information and passion he has accumulated.
