Valeria’s career in the jewellery industry began in Italy after she moved to Valenza, an epicentre for fine jewellery and gemstones and worked in production for six years. Later, Valeria moved to the southwest of China and explored many of the neighbouring countries which reignited her passion for jewellery once again.
Subsequently, she relocated to Sydney and enrolled on a gemmology course and obtained a diploma with The Gemmological Association of Australia before arriving in London and obtaining her Diamond Diploma with The Gemmological Association of Britain while working as a second-hand jewellery buyer and appraiser before joining Sworders in January 2023.
