01279 817778Harriet Lusty is the Head of the Open House department at Sworders, having joined the company in June 2025 during a period of transition and growth. She leads the development and curation of the weekly Open House sales, helping to shape a dynamic and accessible offering that appeals to a broad audience, while maintaining high standards of expertise.
Her interest in the auction world began while studying for a Fine Art degree, when she completed an internship at a prominent auction house in Edinburgh. This early experience gave her valuable insight into the industry and sparked a lasting passion for the field. After graduating, she briefly worked in multimedia production before returning to the auction world to further her career.
Harriet went on to work at a regional auction house as Deputy Manager of the Saleroom and Fine Art Assistant, where she gained hands-on experience in cataloguing, client relations and sale management. She joined Sworders as part of the Homes and Interiors team, and following its rebrand to Open House, stepped into the role of Head of Department, where she continues to drive its success.
